Explorations Series (Albury-Wodonga): Hope, recovery and resilience - Rebecca Moore

Start: 22nd Aug 2017 7:00pm
End: 22nd Aug 2017 8:00pm

Followed by light refreshments.

Rebecca will share her journey of hope, recovery and resilience in the face of depression and anxiety and will briefly cover what beyondblue does and how the audience can seek help, or support a friend or family member who may find themselves in a difficult position.

Rebecca Moore has worked extensively in the hospitality industry spending most of her career as a Flight Attendant, her dream since she was 7 years old.

Rebecca is a Volunteer Speaker for beyondblue, a national organisation that works to raise awareness about anxiety and depression, reduce the associated stigma and encourage people to get help.

Rebecca became a beyondblue Speaker because she wanted to 'pay it forward' by encouraging others to talk to their friends or doctor if they feel they may have symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Rebecca's interests include running, yoga, reading, going to concerts and music festivals (she is a big fan of Kylie Minogue) and is currently doing an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine. She is a proud mother of 2 boys aged 3 and 5.
