- Charles Sturt Innovation Hubs prepare for 10-week online program for regional ‘movers and shakers’ from Monday 17 August
Regional start-up founders and those with a business idea will be given the chance to bring it to life as Charles Sturt University’s Innovation Hubs prepares for the next ‘Ready to Launch’ program.
The ‘Ready to Launch: 10 week online incubator program for regional movers and shakers’ is being offered to regional founders across NSW to explore the validity of their business ideas and the steps to make it a reality.
Successful applicants will join experienced entrepreneurs for a 10-week online program, which includes learning how to apply start-up principles, developing connections to advance a business idea, testing the market for an idea, and creating a business plan using a business model canvas.
The Ready to Launch program will be led by Mr Stephen Rutter, who has more than 20 years’ experience in global business environments.
Manager of the Charles Sturt Innovation Hubs Ms Annette Davies said the University was excited to offer a program that supports regional start-ups for the seventh time.
“We’re so excited to support this next group of regional innovators, see them grow in confidence in their business idea and their ability to communicate it,” she said.
“We’re particularly thrilled to offer this game-changer of a course as an immersive online experience to anyone with a business idea in regional NSW.”
Participants will need to commit three hours every Monday via ZOOM from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
They will then pitch their business idea to an audience on Monday 26 October and the program will conclude Monday 2 November.
