- Hastings Co-Op Scholarship available to Port Macquarie students, applications close Monday 5 February
A one-off payment of $1,500 is available for Charles Sturt University students in Port Macquarie who are suffering financial hardship to ensure they can continue their studies.
The Hastings Co-op Scholarship is available to Port Macquarie students studying online or on campus in any year in any undergraduate course.
“It is wonderful to see local businesses supporting the students in their community,” Charles Sturt Foundation Chief Executive Officer Ms Sarah Ansell said.
“This scholarship has been generously donated to take the edge off study costs, allowing a student to purchase necessary supplies from the Hastings Co-Op.”
Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship by providing a Centrelink Income Statement or outline of financial needs in the ‘Additional Financial Information’ box on the application page.
Continuing students who are applying must have a GPA of 4.0 or above and commencing students need an ATAR of 65 or above.
Applications for the Hastings Co-op Scholarship close at 9am on Monday 5 February for continuing and commencing students.
The total scholarship value of $1,500 will be paid as a Hastings Co-op credit card or voucher during the scholarship ceremony.
