- Open Days allow future students to learn about studying at Charles Sturt

- Tours of Charles Sturt in Albury’s state-of-the-art science labs, community engagement and wellness centre, academic facilities and accommodation are on offer
Charles Sturt University (Charles Sturt) in Albury-Wodonga will host an Open Day for prospective students and their families on Sunday 18 August.
At the Albury-Wodonga Open Day, prospective students and their parents can attend tours of the campus, academic facilities and accommodation, attend information sessions on courses, have one-on-one discussions with academics, and speak with current students.
Some of the highlights for the Open Day in Albury-Wodonga include an interactive demonstration at the outside broadcast van, a chance to explore the University’s state-of-the-art science labs and community engagement and wellness centre, a performance of communication and creative industries students’ latest shows and a presentation on how these students tell stories through technology.
The Open Day is on between 10am and 2pm, with free food, drinks, live entertainment, giveaways and competitions available on the day.
There will several information sessions, including one for parents, one on scholarships, and one on the Charles Sturt Advantage early entry program.
Prospective students will also have the opportunity to learn more about Charles Sturt’s courses, with information sessions spanning education, agriculture, business, information technology, health, social work, dentistry and the new Joint Program in Medicine with Charles Sturt and Western Sydney University scheduled throughout the day.
The Open Day will also provide prospective students with information on Charles Sturt’s clubs, societies, sports teams, and events and social activities.
Charles Sturt's Director, Knowledge Exchange and Engagement, Associate Professor Laura Dan said, “The University is excited to host the Open Days and there will be a lot of activities and information on offer at the Albury-Wodonga Open Day for prospective students.
“The Open Days will allow students to gain valuable insights into studying at Charles Sturt and will allow the University to connect with our communities.”

Open Days will be held at six of the University’s campuses between Sunday 4 August and Friday 6 September, and will run regardless of weather conditions.
