Successful businesswoman and outstanding champion of Australian arts and culture, Mrs Janet Holmes à Court AO will be honoured by CSU at the graduation ceremony in Orange, Friday 28 March.

More than 6 000 graduates will receive their undergraduate and postgraduate awards from CSU during the graduation season, with the Dubbo Campus to hold the first ceremony for 2008 from 10.30am, Wednesday 26 March.

Charles Sturt University will hold three ceremonies in Albury from Thursday 26 April as nearly 500 graduands receive their degrees, diplomas and certificates from CSU Chancellor Lawrie Willett, AO.

CSU in Albury Wodonga will celebrate the achievements of nearly 700 students in four graduation ceremonies this week.

Mr Ian Macintosh, AM, was made a Companion of Charles Sturt University at the conclusion of the Faculty of Arts graduation ceremony in Bathurst on Saturday 17 December, in recognition of his dedication to advancing the institution and its regions.

Associate Professor Jane Mills quickly got the audiences' full attention when she delivered the Occasional Address at the CSU Faculty of Arts graduation ceremony on Friday 8 May when she urged graduates to 'break rules'.

Over 4 000 friends and family members are expected to attend the graduation of nearly 2 000 students at six graduation ceremonies at CSU at Bathurst.

Bathurst will experience a surge of over 4 500 visitors as friends and family members come to the city to celebrate the graduation of nearly 1 900 students from Charles Sturt University (CSU). Undergraduate and postgraduate awards will be presented at six ceremonies over three days – Wednesday 7, Thursday 8 and Friday 9 May – at the CD Blake Auditorium on CSU’s Bathurst Campus. The ceremonies will be lead by CSU Chancellor, Mr Lawrence Willett, AO.

National leaders in the retail and wine sectors in Australia and overseas will be honoured by Charles Sturt University during three days of graduation ceremonies in Wagga Wagga in April.
