Graduation season at Charles Sturt University (CSU) has arrived, with almost 3 500 graduates due to attend ceremonies in Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Canberra, Dubbo, Orange and Wagga Wagga in late December. A highlight for the University will be the awarding of degrees to 32 inaugural dental science graduates at CSU in Orange on Tuesday 17 December. The Bachelor of Dental Science program started in 2009 in the School Dentistry and Health Sciences at CSU in Orange in response to a critical shortage of dental practitioners in rural and remote communities. From Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 December, 1 100 graduates will attend six ceremonies at CSU in Wagga Wagga. At CSU in Albury-Wodonga on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 December, 540 graduates are scheduled to attend four ceremonies. On Tuesday 17 December, 104 graduates will attend a ceremony at CSU in Dubbo and later on the same day, 133 graduates, including the first group of dental science graduates, will attend a ceremony at CSU in Orange. At CSU in Bathurst, 1 514 graduates will be awarded degrees during seven ceremonies from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 December. On Monday 16 December, 50 graduates from the University's School of Theology are expected to attend a ceremony at CSU in Canberra. A full graduation program for each CSU campus can be found here.
