A century old olive grove, a vineyard and rolling green hills will be the backdrop for the annual “Jazz Picnic in the Winery” at Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Wagga Wagga on Sunday 7 September 2003.

The best in regional wine, food and jazz will dominate the spring afternoon picnic, including Charles Sturt University’s multi award winning wines and cheeses.

The local jazz trio, “The Swing Drinkers”, featuring Samantha Thornton on vocals, will perform during the picnic, which last year attracted about 1 500 people to the CSU Winery.

With the music, good food and wine to flow from 12pm to 5pm, the event has been organised by the Charles Sturt University Winery and supported by Tourism Wagga Wagga.

Members of the Coolamon Rotary Club will collect an entry “donation”, with the proceeds to go to their “Polio Plus” fund.
