Charles Sturt University Photography Lecturer and coordinator of The National Community Photographic Portrait Project, Karen Donnelly said the national and regional media coverage of the Albury project generated many responses and inquires from a range of regional and metropolitan centres.

Among the responses was Brisbane. Ms Donnelly is now working with Brisbane City Council to finalise details for The Face of Brisbane, which will commence in April 2003, and due to open for exhibition in the new Brisbane Museum in October 2003.

The creative team comprising of Karen Donnelly, Tony Nott and Raimond DeWeerdt, all CSU photography lecturers, will present a briefing session on the project at 2pm on Friday 11 October during the Groundswell Conference at the Wilson Street Gallery in Albury.

The region will also get another opportunity to see The Face of Albury. The exhibition has been restaged and is now on display at the Wilson Street Gallery until Monday 14 October.
