CSU commits to responsible management education

CSU's School of Management and Marketing has become a signatory of the United Nations' Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).

Charles Sturt University's (CSU's) School of Management and Marketing has become a signatory of the United Nations' Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).

CSU becomes the twentieth Australian university to support the initiative which aims to change the curriculum, research and learning methods of management education and was launched in 2007.

"By becoming a signatory of the United Nations' Principles for Responsible Management Education, Charles Sturt University has confirmed its commitment to continue to develop responsible, ethical and professional business and management graduates who will contribute to sustainability on a global scale," Lecturer in Sustainable Management Mr Simon Wright said.

As a signatory, CSU commits to educating students with purpose and values, contribute to the creation of education frameworks, engage in sustainable business research, and interact with businesses to extend their knowledge in addressing social and environmental responsibilities, as well as facilitating and supporting dialogue and debate on critical issues related to global social responsibility.
