Charles Sturt University (CSU) is for the first time offering support for accountants seeking to advance their careers by becoming a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).
As the only university in Australia to be a Registered Tuition Provider for the Professional Level of the CPA Program ®, CSU will offer face-to-face tuition workshops in Melbourne and Sydney from this August.
“Charles Sturt University has designed a series of workshops in the central business district of Melbourne and Sydney, as well as in north Parramatta, to help prepare candidates for the CPA Program ® professional level exams,” said Associate Professor Jenny Kent from the School of Accounting and Finance at CSU.
“This is a great opportunity for Charles Sturt University to extend its offerings in accounting education. We have recruited a number of highly qualified and experienced workshop leaders who will work with students in an interactive format to facilitate their learning and preparation for the professional body exams,” Professor Kent said.
The CPA Program ® Tuition Workshops will cover the topics of Ethics and Governance; Strategic Management Accounting; Financial Reporting; and Global Strategy and Leadership.
The tuition starts in north Parramatta on Monday 13 August and in central Melbourne and Sydney from Monday 20 August.
