- Charles Sturt graduates contribute to the support of communities
Charles Sturt University (Charles Sturt) will host graduation ceremonies for students in the coming weeks.
Charles Sturt’s graduation season starts on Monday 19 August, with a ceremony in Melbourne, and will conclude in Sydney on Thursday 22 August 2019.
Charles Sturt will welcome approximately 1150 students from the University’s campus in Parramatta and study centres in Sydney and Melbourne to the graduation ceremonies, with the invitation extended to each students’ family and friends to celebrate their achievements.
Charles Sturt Vice-Chancellor Professor Andrew Vann said he was proud to share in the achievements of the students.
“Graduation is an important milestone which recognises years of hard work and dedication to study,” Professor Vann said.
“It’s always a pleasure to celebrate the success of our students and to share that with their families and friends.
“It’s also exciting to know that our graduates will be able to put their learning and research from Charles Sturt to work and to contribute to the community.”
Charles Sturt Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students) Ms Jenny Roberts said graduation season was a highlight of the University year and a source of great pride.
“Our graduates have studied a diverse range of courses and have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to begin work in their community or undertake further study,” Ms Roberts said.
“Each Charles Sturt graduate has experienced their own journey to graduation. We look forward to seeing each student make their own unique contributions to their profession and their community, and to hearing of their future success.”
