Charles Sturt University investigating alleged NRL incident

Charles Sturt University Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor David Battersby said the University is extremely disturbed by the allegations of National Rugby League footballers in a CSU student residence.

Charles Sturt University Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor David Battersby said the University is extremely disturbed by the allegations of National Rugby League (NRL) footballers in a CSU student residence, and is currently pursuing this matter vigorously.  

“The University’s primary concern is with our students,” Professor Battersby said.

The University has launched an internal investigation into the allegations and the matter is being discussed with NSW Police.  

“At present we do not want to prejudice any investigations that may be made,” said Professor Battersby.  

"I reiterate that the University is extremely concerned and we are seeking to speak with all parties involved."
