Charles Sturt University (CSU) students will be awarded Charles Sturt University Foundation Scholarships at ceremonies across the University’s campuses during July and August.

The Charles Sturt University Foundation annually awards 300 student scholarships valued at between $1,000 to $10,000 to those who have demonstrated sound academic achievement, strong community and industry connections, and have set career goals.

Director of CSU Advancement Ms Sarah Ansell said the scholarships made a significant difference to students and showed the generosity of individuals and businesses whose contributions make the scholarships possible.

“Donors are people and organisations who are passionate about making a difference to Charles Sturt University students,” Ms Ansell said.

“As a university we recognise some students need financial assistance to undertake studies, particularly as some come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The awarded scholarships can make a significant difference to their learning.”

Ms Ansell noted that the scholarship ceremonies were a way for the University to recognise the significance of the scholarships for both the donors and the recipients.
