CSU graduation season in Sydney

Charles Sturt University (CSU) will host 543 graduates and their guests in Sydney at two graduation ceremonies to be held at Rose Hill Gardens Racecourse on Tuesday 12 December.

Charles Sturt University (CSU) will host 543 graduates and their guests in Sydney at two graduation ceremonies to be held at Rose Hill Gardens Racecourse on Tuesday 12 December.

CSU Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Toni Downes will preside over the School of Accounting and Finance ceremony with CSU Deputy Vice-Chancellor Jenny Roberts to give the occasional address.

CSU Pro Chancellor Mr Angelos Frangopoulos will preside over the School of Computing and Mathematics and the School of Management and Marketing graduation ceremonies and give the occasional address.

CSU Deputy Vice-Chancellor Jenny Roberts, who will attend all three ceremonies, said "Graduation is one of the highlights of the academic year, and I am pleased to welcome our graduates, their families, friends and the community to celebrate this special event.

"I congratulate our graduating professionals on the successful completion of their studies with us,” Deputy Vice-Chancellor Roberts said.

CSU Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Toni Downes will officiate at the ceremony for the School of Accounting and Finance said graduation was the culmination of students’ hard work and study throughout their time with the University.

“Graduation is a proud day for many students, their families and friends,” Professor Downes said.

CSU Pro Chancellor Mr Angelos Frangopoulos said, “Graduation was a highlight for the academic year for the University and we look forward to welcoming those that come to celebrate the event.

“Charles Sturt University prides itself on producing job-ready graduates who join the workforce with an intent to have a positive impact and to inspire others.

“I congratulate our graduates on the successful completion of their studies.”

Local Aboriginal Elder Aunty Kerrie Kenton will conduct a Welcome to Country at the graduations.

The graduation ceremony for the CSU School of Accounting and Finance will commence at 9.30am on Tuesday 12 December in the Grand Pavilion Rosehill Gardens Racecourse.

The graduation ceremonies for the CSU School of Computing and Mathematics and the School of Marketing and Management will commence at 3pm on Tuesday 12 December in the Grand Pavilion Rosehill Gardens Racecourse.
