Charles
Sturt University (CSU) is embracing a new way of engaging with prospective
students as part of its Think Again
campaign with a pop up kiosk and digital touch screens appearing at Westfield
centres across Sydney.
In a first for the university, the pop up kiosk enables face to face interaction and direct engagement between CSU recruitment staff and prospective students in metropolitan Sydney, including mums returning to work, people considering a career change or promotion, parents of potential students and curious school leavers.
The modular pop up kiosk will be manned by CSU Prospective Student Advisors and will be installed for a week at a time at a number of Westfield shopping centres throughout Sydney in October and early November. The kiosk has been purpose built and was designed by the CSU Division of Marketing and Communications.
In addition, CSU is one of the first brands in Australia to use new digital smart screens in Westfield shopping centres which will support the pop up kiosk and the current TV advertising campaign. These touch screens offer the latest in digital technology and intelligence, including the ability to accurately measure audience engagement with our campaign.
Jennifer Galloway, Senior Marketing Manager, Division of Marketing and Communication at CSU, said, "Our Think Again campaign has been designed to help people realise what's possible with online study and help them overcome the barriers to pursuing their dream career.
"The Westfield pop up kiosk is our opportunity to directly engage with the Sydney metropolitan community outside the school channel and our staff will be able to answer questions and provide advice to prospective students on what courses are available and what type of study will best suit them."
She said, "We are very excited to be one of the first universities in Australia to utilise a pop up kiosk and one of the first brands to use Westfield's smart screens. Think Again is the largest omnichannel campaign the University has invested in and we wanted it to be a real call to action for people to aspire to something greater."
