The new campus of CSU in Port Macquarie will be officially opened by Senator the Hon. Chris Evans, Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Research on Tuesday 1 May. Member for Lyne, Mr Rob Oakeshott, MP, will also attend the formal ceremony, which will begin with an academic procession at 10.30am, followed by a 'Welcome to Country' by Aboriginal Elder Mr William O'Brien ('Uncle Bill').

Expanded paramedic program will save lives

The proposed expansion of the paramedic program at CSU will lead to a better trained workforce to meet the complex needs of modern emergency care and will save lives. The proposal is as part of CSU's $63.6 million bid to the Education Investment Fund to expand health disciplines taught at CSU in Orange and Bathurst.
