Statement on new Queensland Medical School

CSU welcomes today's Federal Government announcement that Griffith University will be able to operate a fully-fledged Medical School at Sunshine Coast University Hospital in Queensland for 50 local students per year.

Charles Sturt University (CSU) welcomes today's Federal Government announcement that Griffith University will be able to operate a fully-fledged Medical School at Sunshine Coast University Hospital in Queensland for 50 local students per year.

This follows on from the welcome opening of the Curtin Medical School in Western Australia earlier this year.

Charles Sturt University looks forward to a Federal Government decision on a new Murray Darling Medical School for everyone's benefit in regional NSW and Victoria later in the year.
