Charles Sturt University (CSU) has announced its 2013 tuition program  for candidates enrolled in CPA Program professional level segments, with workshops to be held in Sydney, Parramatta and Melbourne.

 

The University first offered CPA Program tuition in second semester 2012 and workshop convener Professor Peter Eddey from the School of Accounting and Finance said feedback had been very positive.

 

“The workshops are kept to small groups of CPA Program candidates so we can provide a personalised and supportive setting, and cover each of the four professional level compulsory segments in detail,” he said.

 

“Participants find the workshops are made up of like-minded candidates all pursuing the same goal, creating a collaborative atmosphere ideal for successful completion of CPA Program exams. Participants get plenty of practise at working on typical exam-type questions and case studies, and get helpful advice on how to prepare for their exams.”

 

Professor Eddey said the key strength of the University’s tuition workshops was the professional and academic experience of the teachers who delivered them.

 

“All our teaching staff have a mix of professional experience and experience lecturing at university level,” he said.

 

“All our teachers are members of either CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Importantly, each has specialist knowledge in the CPA Program professional level segments they teach.

 

“The teaching team has been specifically convened for these workshops and each member is prepared to do everything they can to assist candidates to excel at their CPA Program exams.”

 

The CPA Program Tuition Workshop series for each segment has 20 hours of classroom activity, including four teaching workshops of four hours each and one four-hour revision and exam preparation workshop, with online support  available between workshops.
