More than 1,200 students are expected to visit one of the Charles Sturt campuses during the month.
Students will be able to participate in workshops, demonstrations, and campus and accommodation tours, and learn about scholarships and admissions.
The Explore Days started at Port Macquarie on Tuesday 8 March, and will be followed by events at Bathurst on Tuesday 15 March, Orange on Wednesday 16 March, Wagga Wagga on Tuesday 22 March, Albury-Wodonga on Tuesday 29 March and Dubbo on Wednesday 30 March.
Charles Sturt University’s Manager, Sales and Student Recruitment Mr Matthew Hof said the experience high school students, parents and career advisers attending an Explore Day can expect is like a backstage pass into life at Charles Sturt.
“Our vibrant campuses are bouncing back to life with students and staff, and Explore Days certainly add to the energy and excitement of being back on campus,” he said.
“Our local high school will have the opportunity to experience the state-of-the-art services and facilities that are at their doorstep, in addition to learning about the graduate employment opportunities that Charles Sturt graduates enjoy.
“Charles Sturt has ranked first among Australian universities for full-time graduate employment for the last six years.
“We look forward to having the next generation of university students on campus to show what Charles Sturt University has on offer.”
During the Explore Day events the University will showcase a range of engaging and dynamic student experiences and course offerings.
Current staff and students will host a series of workshops and events to familiarise high school students with their chosen field, including paramedicine, criminal justice, information technology, nursing, agriculture, oral health, education, engineering and psychology.
