Following an overwhelming response to its inaugural Distinguished Alumni Awards Program in 2020, Charles Sturt University proudly announces the launch of its 2021 program.

The Distinguished Alumni Awards Program recognises and celebrates the achievements of the University’s alumni.

The annual awards program has increased to six categories this year, including Professional Achievement, Professional Achievement (Research), Service to the Community, Young Alumni, International Alumni and First Nations Alumni.

Director of the Charles Sturt Advancement Office, Ms Sarah Ansell said,

“The program is a wonderful opportunity to recognise, celebrate and congratulate our alumni and showcase their achievements.

“It builds institutional pride and engagement, and strengthens our relationship with nominated individuals as well as with our wider alumni community.

“This celebration also showcases the exceptional professional, academic and research contributions our alumni are making to communities at a national and international level.”

Guidelines outlining the application, assessment and privacy of this program are available at the award webpage.

Nominations open Wednesday 14 April and close Wednesday 2 June, with winners announced on Foundation Day, Wednesday 21 July.

The Charles Sturt Alumni awards are open to self-nomination as well as nominations submitted by other Charles Sturt alumni, Charles Sturt or partner institute staff, employers or work colleagues, members of the community, family members or friends.
