Death debate for national conference

Controversial euthanasia advocate, Dr Philip Nitschke, will face anti-euthanasia campaigner Kevin Andrews at the 5th National Conference for Reasoning and Decision Making at Charles Sturt University.

Controversial euthanasia advocate, Dr Philip Nitschke, will face anti-euthanasia campaigner Kevin Andrews at the 5th National Conference for Reasoning and Decision Making at Charles Sturt University from Thursday 3 to Saturday 5 December.

The activists are two of the high-profile speakers from contemporary Australia taking part in the conference, which also includes journalist and media commentator, Phillip Adams; Pru Goward, from the Federal Office for the Status of Women; and keynote speaker, Hon Justice Michael Kirby, from the High Court of Australia.

Three CSU academics - Professor Don Thomson, Associate Professor Margaret Alston and Professor Seamus Miller - are also among the speakers at the CSU Convention Centre on the Wagga Wagga Campus.
