Two of Australia’s strongest voices in the euthanasia controversy will stand on the same platform for the first time at Charles Sturt University's Wagga Wagga Campus this Friday 4 December at the 5th National Conference for Reasoning and Decision Making.

Euthanasia advocate, Dr Philip Nitschke, and anti-euthanasia campaigner, Liberal MP Kevin Andrews, are expected to create heated discussion following their addresses to the conference beginning at 2.00pm at the CSU Convention Centre.

It is believed this will be the first time Dr Nitschke and Mr Andrews have appeared together in public.

Other keynote speakers during the conference - which begins at 9.00 am on Thursday 3 December - include Phillip Adams, journalist and media commentator; Pru Goward, Office for the Status of Women; and the Hon. Justice Michael Kirby, High Court of Australia.

The conference is being hosted by CSU's Centre for Rural Social Research, based at Wagga Wagga.
