Charles Sturt University (Charles Sturt) in Orange will host an Open Day for prospective students and their families on Friday 6 September.
The event will include tours of the campus’s state-of-the-art allied health facilities and accommodation, panel discussions with local business experts, and the opportunity to find out more about the Joint Program in Medicine starting in 2021.
Open Days were held in previous weeks at Charles Sturt in Bathurst, Wagga Wagga, Albury-Wodonga, Port Macquarie, and Dubbo.
Charles Sturt Director of Engagement for Bathurst and Orange Ms Julia Andrews said, “The decision to bring Open Days back was made as part of the University’s overall vision to connect with our communities, and they have done just that.
“Open Days are most important as a means of allowing students to gain insights into studying at Charles Sturt.
“Prospective students and their parents will be able to attend tours of Charles Sturt in Orange to inspect academic facilities and accommodation, attend information sessions on courses, have one-on-one discussions with academics, and speak with current students.”
There will be food and drinks, live entertainment, and competitions.
The Open Day will run from 4pm-7pm at Charles Sturt in Orange, located on Leeds Parade.
