The Prime Minister today announced that water allocations in the Murray-Darling basin will be frozen if significant rains do not fall in the next eight weeks. Once again, water is high on the national agenda.
Leading inland higher education provider Charles Sturt University (CSU) has specialist commentators who are available for comment on water issues which impact on agricultural production, the environment, regional businesses, communities and families, particularly in the Murray Darling Basin. - Land management expert and Institute for Land Water and Society (ILWS) director Professor Allan Curtis, on the national water initiative and its effects on the people of the basin;

- Climate change authority Professor Kevin Parton with ILWS, on the value of seasonal weather forecasting.
