Seminar series to help small business on Mid North Coast

The first in a new series of free seminars to assist local small business operators on the NSW Mid North Coast will be held at CSU in Port Macquarie on Monday 18 March.

The first in a new series of free seminars to assist local small business operators on the NSW Mid North Coast will be held at Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Port Macquarie on Monday 18 March.
 
The Small Business Management Foundation Seminars will commence with a ‘short, sharp, and engaging session’ about online marketing from 5.30pm to 7.30pm next Monday.
 
The Small Business Management Foundation Seminars is hosted by CSU in partnership with Edmund Barton Centre, Mid North Coast Business Chamber, Hastings Business Women’s Network and Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce.
 
Dr Lan Snell from CSU. She will chair the small business seminars at CSU in Port Macquarie.Chairing the three seminars on Monday 18 March, Tuesday 23 April and Tuesday 14 May is Course Director of CSU’s Graduate Certificate in Small Business Management Dr Lan Snell.
 
“We have organised these seminars on online marketing, human resources and finance in response to feedback from the local business community of their need for ongoing training and development,” said Dr Snell from the CSU School of Management and Marketing.
 
“We are responding to the needs of local businesses as they are key partners in the community and their success is important to Charles Sturt University.
 
“Our Online Marketing seminar will hear from guest speaker Mr Ben Stickland, Chief Executive Officer and founder of web development agency, Alliance Software.
 
“We hope to attract to the seminar series small business operators and individuals who are thinking about starting their own business,” Dr Snell said.
