* Welcome Events for early offer students to be held on six main CSU campuses

* Future students and their parents introduced to campus life and services
Charles Sturt University (CSU) will host Welcome Events at its six main campuses in late November to celebrate students who have received an early offer place at the University in 2019.
Ms Hilary Matchett, a prospective student adviser in the CSU Division of Marketing and Communication, said, “The Welcome Events will be held from Tuesday 20 to Friday 30 November to officially welcome those students to campus who have been successful in receiving an early offer to the University or those who have deferred an on-campus offer for study.
“The events give students and their parents the opportunity to gather further information regarding scholarships, accommodation, and various support available to them on campus.
“On the day, students and parents will be officially welcomed to the respective University campus by the Head of Campus or their representative.
“They will enjoy a morning tea, speak with academic staff who will be teaching them in the New Year, tour the campus, and inspect accommodation.
“Students and parents will also will attend sessions that explore topics such as scholarships and the opportunity for international study travel through CSU Global.”
The dates and CSU campus venues are:
* Albury-Wodonga - Tuesday 20 November, The Gums
* Wagga Wagga – Thursday 22 November, The Hub
* Dubbo – Friday 23 November, building 901
* Bathurst – Tuesday 27 November, Rafters Bar Auditorium
* Port Macquarie – Thursday 29 November, building 801 and surrounds
* Orange – Friday 30 November, Templers Mill Bar
