A new program at Charles Sturt University (CSU) in 2018 will help uncertain students make the move to university study.
Key points
- The two-day program will be held on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 February at CSU in Bathurst
- Participants meet academics, learn about student support services, and tour the campus
“University Head Start aims to help both prospective and commencing students understand university life and help them overcome any uncertainties they might have before they start their studies,” Division of Student Services project officer Ms Heidi Annand said.
“It is about easing any anxieties about the steps to higher education by demonstrating how welcoming and inclusive the Charles Sturt University community is.
“We had a really great response from attendees involved in the first two-day University Head Start program in late January.”
