It was a short-lived retirement for one of Charles Sturt University’s (CSU) most senior and valued academics with the appointment of Professor Ross Chambers as Head of CSU in Port Macquarie.
In announcing the new appointment, CSU Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Andrew Vann said Professor Chambers will be Head of CSU’s newest campus for the next two years, until July 2014.
“I welcome Ross’ return to Charles Sturt University in another senior role,” Professor Vann said. “The wealth of knowledge that Ross has about Charles Sturt University as well as his central role in establishing our campus at Port Macquarie makes him a perfect fit with the new position as Head of Campus.”
