The 2007 Federal election campaign is now underway in earnest. Charles Sturt University has experts who can comment on the political, social, economic and environmental issues raised during the six week long campaign.

The 2007 Federal election campaign is now underway in earnest with the poll set down for Saturday 24 November 2007.
 
As the national University of inland Australia, Charles Sturt University (CSU) has experts who can comment on the political, social, economic and environmental issues raised during the six week long campaign, especially as they affect inland Australia. These experts include:
  • Associate Professor Leonora Ritter (Bathurst), on Australian history and politics;
  • Professor Terry Heazlewood (Wagga Wagga) a professor in accounting from the CSU School of Commerce, can comment on business aspects;
  • Associate Professor Rob Macklin (Wagga Wagga), Head of the CSU School of Commerce, on human resource management and industrial relations;
  • Dr Bill Robbins (Albury-Wodonga), on employment and industrial relations policy and Work Choice; and,
  • Ms Debra Da Silva and Kerry Grigg (Albury-Wodonga), on the effects of proposed tax changes on increasing the proportion of women in the workforce.
  • Dr Shaun Rawolle (Wagga Wagga), on higher education policy and comparisons between Australia and other OECD nations.
