Ms Rebecca Tomkins, from Orange, will receive the Sefiani Prize valued at $500 which has been contributed by successful PR practitioner Ms Robyn Sefiani.
Associate Professor Chika Anyanwu, Head of the School of Communication and Creative Industries, said, "This new PR prize comes from alumnus Ms Robyn Sefiani, who is using the 15th anniversary of her company to recognise the value and good experience she had as a student at Charles Sturt University. Robin kindly wants to give something back to encourage the younger generation of the University's PR students. We thank her for her generosity and inspired contribution to the field and our students."
