• Charles Sturt University will present its Online Study Expo 2021 on Sunday 20 and Tuesday 22 June to show future students why it is a leader in online learning
• The expo will feature the experience that online students receive, from how courses are designed, to the support that is available and what online delivery looks like
• The Online Study Expo is for all online students who may be considering studying a short course, an undergraduate degree or a masters

Charles Sturt University will present an online expo to enable future students to learn about the experience of studying online.

The Charles Sturt Online Study Expo 2021 is why the University is a leader in online learning.

Mr Shawn Walker, Executive Director (Students) in the Charles Sturt Division of Students, said,

“Our Online Study Expo will showcase what it’s like to study as an online student at Australia’s largest online university.

“The expo will provide great insights to students who are interested to study with Charles Sturt University online and raise their awareness of our excellence and experience as an online university.”

Mr Walker said this is the first event of this kind to raise the profile of the University’s online learning platform and expertise.

“The Online Study Expo pairs nicely with the lead up to our on-campus Open Days, highlighting the differences and strengths between both our online learning and our on-campus student experience,” he said.

“On-campus students have open days, they experience where they are going to study and what it looks like, so we have created the online study expo to show prospective online students what the Charles Sturt online experience is like.”

The Online Study Expo will feature the experience that online students receive, from how courses are designed, to the support that is available, what online delivery looks like and how to use services like the library.

The Online Study Expo will provide future students with the opportunity to:

• Learn more about course offerings and scholarships;
• Find out how to apply and get credit for industry or prior study experience;
• Tour the student portal;
• Learn about study support and library services;
• Get top tips from current online students about time management and how to balance life and study.

Mr Walker said the online study expo is for all online students, whether they are considering a short course, an undergraduate degree or a masters, the online study expo will show them what the experience will look like.

“The Online Study Expo will have current online students, course designers, services and support all there so future students can get the feel for what studying online at Australia’s largest online university is like, so come along and speak to our experts,” he said.

The Charles Sturt Online Study Expo 2021 is from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday 20 June and from 11am to 3pm on Tuesday 22 June.

Mr Walker thanked the project team who have worked hard with key stakeholders across the University to bring the Charles Sturt Online Study Expo 2021 to life.
