Charles Sturt University will host a free webinar with expert panellists from the academic and private sector discussing the benefits of harnessing business data analytics for business, government, and community organisations.

The Business Data Analytics webinar is at 12.30pm on Wednesday 11 May.

It is the third in a four-part Future of Business series which explores key challenges in contemporary business, including leadership, transformation, business data, and project management.

Lecturer in Management and Marketing, and Course Director, in the Charles Sturt Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences Ms Katherine Attree will host the panel of academic and industry experts who will cover contemporary issues of relevance to leaders in all organisations and industry sectors.

“Our panel of speakers have extensive experience in both government and the private sector, in leading large teams and projects, and in implementing change,” Ms Attree said.

“They bring professional and personal experience to the conversation, providing our participants with insights, suggestions, and advice on how to use business data analytics for decision making and maximum impact.”

Topics to be explored include how to:

• enhance organisational responsiveness to market changes
• aid government planning and response to major issues such as the recent floods
• improve customer value and retention
• aid decision making
• influence organisational and societal change.

The webinar will run for roughly 45 minutes followed by a live Q&A session.

• Principal at The Nous Group and organisational transformation specialist, Dr Kelly Samson
• Senior consultant for data, analytics, and digital transformation, Mr Adrian Bugg

The session will conclude with an overview of Charles Sturt’s postgraduate business courses designed to equip graduates with skills in business data analytics, including the new Data and Strategic Planning specialisation within the Master of Business Administration (with specialisations).
