Join us as we plant trees for biodiversity month

September is biodiversity month and to celebrate Charles Sturt University in Orange with Summer Hill Creekcare will host a Tree Planting Day on Sunday 25 September from 9.30am until 12pm.

The event is part of a series Charles Sturt is hosting across multiple campuses where staff and community members are invited to plant a tree on campus grounds to improve biodiversity and habitat value in the area.

The event is open to Charles Sturt staff, students and community members, and media are invited to attend to take pictures and conduct interviews.

There will be a mixture of trees, shrubs and groundcovers planted, all of which are local native species.

Participants can register by contacting Charles Sturt Adjunct Lecturer, Environmental Management,  Dr Cilla Kinross via ckinross@csu.edu.au or 6365 7651.
