Time to revisit the Australian constitution: Kirby

Former Australian High Court judge and leading advocate for human rights the Hon. Justice Michael Kirby has launched a book by a CSU consitutional expert outlining a vision for a new constitution for Australia.

The book by Charles Sturt University (CSU) constitutional law expert and Senior Lecturer in Law with the Faculty of Business, Dr Bede Harris outlines his vision on how the Australian Constitution works and why it needs to be reformed suggesting changes to the Constitution.
 
The book, Freedom, Democracy and Accountability – A Vision for a New Australian Constitution, was launched by Mr Kirby, in Albury-Wodonga on 2 May 2013. It is available from Vivid Publishing.
