At 11.30 am today, Monday 31 August, Australia’s universities took the unprecedented step of launching a pre-election campaign directed at both the Government and the Opposition. The campaign was unveiled in Sydney by Professor John Niland, President of the nation’s peak university body - The Australian Vice-Chancellors’ Committee (AVCC). Charles Sturt University will take this campaign to its regional NSW communities with a series of newspaper advertisements scheduled to run from Saturday 5 September.
