Numbers grow for CSU graduations in China

Over 800 university students are graduating from Charles Sturt University in four ceremonies being held across China.

Over 800 university students are graduating from Charles Sturt University (CSU) in four ceremonies being held across China.
 
Head of CSU’s School of International and Business Partnerships, Associate Professor John Atkinson said this was the highest number of students ever to graduate from CSU courses offered in China.
 
Graduates in 2011 from the Yunnan University of Finance and Economics.“This exciting program prepares students for employment in China or for further academic studies at a postgraduate level. Students will graduate with a degree in the Bachelor of Business Studies from Charles Sturt University and also with a business degree from their partner university,” Professor Atkinson said.
 
“Charles Sturt University is expecting to graduate similar students numbers each year until at least 2018. These numbers highlight the importance of the close relationships that the University has with its Chinese partners.”

Professor Atkinson, together with the Charles Sturt University Chancellor, Mr Laurie Willett, presented students with their degrees and awards in these institutions:

  • Wednesday 6 June - Jilin University of Finance and Economics 
  • Friday 8 June - Tianjin University of Commerce
  • Tuesday 12 June – Graduation Yangzhou University
  • Thursday 14 June – Graduation - Yunnan University of Finance and Economics
