Charles Sturt is a leading Port Macquarie institution and has been Foundation Sponsor for 11 years since the summit’s inception in 2012.
The 2023 Luminosity Youth Summit is on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 July.

Ms Wood-Foye is the co-founder and Chair of the not-for-profit Luminosity Youth Summit and curates the event with a team of 20 volunteers, providing the leadership, connection and development opportunity for students from all over the country in regional Port Macquarie.
She said the Luminosity Youth Summit 2023 is full of energy and vibrancy. The event ignites creativity, excellence and entrepreneurship and fosters purpose and wellbeing among young people aged 15 to 25 years. More than 3000 young people have experienced the summit with another 450 expected to join the summit in 2023.
“Charles Sturt University is delighted to return as a Foundation Sponsor of Luminosity Youth Summit 2023 in Port Macquarie and is proud to also sponsor a selection of Summit Scholarships,” Ms Wood-Foye said.
“The University is keen to provide this unique opportunity to link regional communities to the talents of students, lecturers, researchers and industry partners who will be guest speakers and facilitators at the event, among 25 other thought leaders from various fields around the globe.”
Ms Wood-Foye said Charles Sturt has a long commitment to supporting its regional communities through sponsorship, industry partnerships and in-kind assistance and support of high impact events.
