Evaluation of the Outback Satellite Education trial, launched by Education and Training Minister John Aquilina in Sydney this week, is being conducted at the Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga Campus.
CSU School of Education senior lecturers Andrew Wallace and Colin Boylan were asked by the State government authorities, which are running the trial in partnership with Telstra, to evaluate the educational value and implications of the $1.7 million project.
Details of the program follow in the form of a News Release from the Minister's office entitled: Outback students participate in satellite education trial. This week is the last week of lessons being conducted in the current trial.
