A Virtual Info Night on Thursday 6 November highlights Charles Sturt University as a leader in supporting individuals to explore new career pathways through flexible online study.
Future Student Marketing and Engagement Officer and the project lead Mr Daniel King said people can register to log-in to a session from 5.30pm and will leave informed and excited about their future with Charles Sturt University.
“The Virtual Information will include multiple informative sessions presented by academics, Future Student Engagement staff, alumni and current students,” Mr King said.
“Each session has a strong focus on course information, online study pathways and showing prospective students that online study is achievable, no matter how busy life gets.”
Mr King said the dynamic event will showcase a wide range of course opportunities, including business, accounting, communication, health, psychology, nursing, paramedicine, science, information technology (IT), environment, agriculture, environment, education, early childhood, human services, and law.
“Sessions are concise and focused, and include real Charles Sturt University student stories, ensuring participants can have their questions answered and gain valuable insights without a large time commitment,” Mr King said.
“Charles Sturt University is a leader in online study, lifelong learning and career development and the event will showcase the University’s expertise in research-informed education and workforce trends by promoting student participation and development.
“The online event will explore study pathways at Charles Sturt University designed to inspire and empower people to take their next step, whether that’s building on TAFE study, embracing a new challenge, or exploring the flexibility of online learning.
“The series reflects our commitment to people by empowering learners at all stages of their careers, with a fresh focus on reinvention, reskilling or reimagining what’s possible in the future.”
