The online series ‘Smash the start-up journey: A masterclass series for CEOs COEs (Chiefs of Everything)’ includes four masterclass sessions in 2020 hosted by the University’s Innovation Hubs.

The second masterclass - ‘Outside of the Square – Strategic Ideation. Learning to think differently and innovate to smash your business goals’ – starts on Wednesday 29 or Thursday 30 July (participants can choose which date they start).

Registrations are open to anyone in regional NSW with their own business or start-up and are able to be offered for free due to support from the Australian Government Department of Industry, Innovation and Science Incubator Support Initiative as part of the Entrepreneurs’ Program.

Manager of the Charles Sturt Innovation Hubs Ms Annette Davies (pictured) said the masterclasses are designed with the needs of regional NSW in mind.

“The second in our masterclass series has innovation at its heart,” she said.

“It has the potential to completely transform how a business challenge can be overcome by applying the principles of design lead thinking and complex adaptive systems and thinking outside the box.”

Business and community leader Ms Jennifer Weller will be the expert-in-residence for this masterclass, and participants will benefit from her record of championing regional development, entrepreneurship and local employment opportunity.

Registration for Masterclass 2 can be made via the Eventbrite website.
