A delegation from the international Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth to inspect facilities at Charles Sturt University for the international Power of Water conference, which is expected to be hosted by the University in March 2004.

The delegation includes the President of the international Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth Charles Runge and the Chair of the Australian organising committee for the conference, Philip Bruem.

The conference will gather delegates from throughout the Commonwealth to discuss the role and future of water resources in agriculture worldwide, as well as other issues in world agriculture.

The delegation will visit the University’s Thurgoona Campus, today Monday 12 May, with a short opportunity for media interviews at 11.45am in front of the Gordon Beavan Building (old AWDC Development Corporation building).
