The Charles Sturt University Council will bestow the Order of the Companion of the University upon Aunty Isabel Reid on Friday 13 December.

Bachelor of Science (Honours) student Mrs Camilla Donnelly will receive the University Medal upon her graduation in Wagga Wagga on Monday 16 December.

Charles Sturt University will confer the honorary title of Emeritus Professor on leading education academic Professor Toni Downes at the graduation ceremony in Sydney on Tuesday 10 December.

Four graduates will be awarded the University Medal at the coming graduation ceremonies at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 December.

The research is focused on the fungal infections that cause grapevine trunk diseases, which can affect all major grapevine varieties grown in Australia and leads to dieback, yield losses and can eventually kill the vine.
