Central West Medical Association provides scholarships for Indigenous and financially disadvantaged students to study medicine at Charles Sturt in Orange.
The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program funding will assist 100 Charles Sturt undergraduate students to participate in 10 short-term programs in the Indo-Pacific region.
The training facilities set to open at the new Bloomfield Medical Centre in Orange will support staff and students in the Charles Sturt and Western Sydney University Joint Program in Medicine.
The five-day Indigenous Access Program, which is designed to prepare prospective students to study at university, will be held at Charles Sturt in Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie and Bathurst.
